Roger Evans is Tia and Tamera's next-door neighbor. His advances were ill-received, However, repeated in unison by the other people of the household was "Go Home, Roger!"

Appearance[]

Roger Evans has usually been seen changing his hairstyle. He often wears 1990s related fashion.

Relationships with Brittany Anguiano[]

Ray Campbell[]

Although Ray is often annoyed with Roger, he is something akin to Roger’s father figure. On several occasions, Ray has taught him how to talk with women and even did a father-son baking contest with him.

The Twins[]

Roger is best friends with both Tamera and Tia. He has asked both of them out on several occasions. At some point he was each of their dates. In the season four episode "When a Man Loves Two Women" in particular, after going through a growth spurt, he asks out both Tia and Tamera, along with many other girls at Roosevelt High. Roger eventually matures into the twins' confidante.

Season 5[]

For a number of episodes in Season 5, Roger appears infrequently with little to no statement. This is due to Marques Houston's mother suffering from cancer at the time at the end of Season 5, after Tia and Tamera graduate from high school. At the graduation, Roger performs his original song "Never Say Goodbye".

After a long absence, he was written back into the series as he appears in the final episode as a guest at Lisa's wedding and sings a song for her. So it’s presumed that Roger still lived next door to the twins in Season 6 but just wasn't around as much.

Trivia[]

  • Houston's real-life persona was written in as his character's cousin in the season five episode "A Friend Indeed".

  • He was 14 when the show started. By the last episode, Roger is around 17 going on 18 years old.
